We once again lacked bite, and got hammered up front. Hull KR will go well this season if they keep that up, although my one comment is their right hand side spurned about 5 overlaps in the game.

Season of transition awaits and we have to be patient or we will end up down the road of Wire,Bratfut or the Goons

We could end up being down to 5 players and still not be as bad as '06 Wigan or '09 Dire.

Well played to KR anyway, but the amount of chances we spurned, plus Longy's brain fart at the end raises questions.

I'd agree. We shouldn't have to rely on the ref making the right calls for us. Smith was poor but so were we. They had more buzz about them and I think we showed that we can play a couple of youngsters but they need the support from more experienced heads.

I think that sums it up. The ref didn't help us, but we didn't help ourselves either. Very poor.

Full credit to HKR, they deserved the win. Out enthused us and had more grit and determination.

Cullen-esque? A and B defenders coming out next?

Spot on.

I'm still not overly worried yet though its one loss from 3 and a very close loss at that. We had a poor start last season and still managed to be up at the top when it counts (other than grand final day before one of our lovely friends from Leeds says anything!).

The ref didn't help last night, but we didn't deserve to win. We looked lost at times in their half and we missed Pryce, who normally gives us momentum going forward.
