Hi all, just experienced Bridgend as a Hull fan. I started looking after the fixtures came out and found out that they had started putting up the prices on that weekend. Famous pub near the ground booked £45.00 on line to be called back by the booking agents to say it was going up to£60 because it was the rugby weekend. This was £45 per night for 2 =£90 I wanted a 2 night stay this rose to £120. I told the agents what to do. I found a B&B in Porthcawl about 6 miles away £40 per night with full and i mean full english breakfast Cost £80. If you drive down its ideal being a seaside town with great sea views about 5 mins walk from the B&B great for the kids. There are 3 pubs 5 mins down the road and a good fish and chip shop. This B&B has nothing to do with me just passing on good digs for the money. If you are interested its RHOSLYN B&B tel no 01656 788497.
