Longy's goal kicking today, like last week was poor His overall play was good, but those 2 points were missing out on are keeping teams in the game, Hudds should of been dead & buried, there heads would of gone down (maybe) & we would of been out of sight.. Then he goes & drop's a goal from 40m!! What's the plan? Foster on the wing or centre, put Gilly back in the pack? Bring back Barry Ward for his kicking? It's gonna hurt us, we need to get Longy practising more or another kicker before it's too late.. Thoughts?? |

Matt Gidley is the answer. Unless Longy finds his old kicking boots in the imminent future. |

Hopefully it was something to do with the pressure of getting to 1000 goals. They say, that getting the last one to reach a milestone is always the hardest. He'll be back-heeling 'em over next week, you watch. |

Jamie Foster is good kicker, but I doubt he'd get the team just for his kicking. |

He's more than a good kicker. He's the best young kicker I've sen since Andy Farrell, and he's also a very good prospect as a centre. Would I take a chance on him in the first team, no, not yet. |

He is a brilliant kicker, but hes a bit light yet. I feel that too many players (especially centres) are forced to pile on the bulk too young. Mick Potters excellent youth promotion at Catalan suggests that he won't be prone to making this mistake. Longy will be chipping them over when the pressure games come along anyway, as always. |

Surely Gidders is the answer? How much practice does Longy do? He certainly needs more. His kicking has gone a bit Paul Bishop at the mo |

Yet on the Sky website Potter is apparently 'sticking by' Long as our official goal kicker. I can't see how at 32 and having been inconsisent for it seems like ever he can suddenly start producing the kind of goal kicking we need. Surely it would make better sense to have Gidley kicking as well so that the pressure isn't all on Long alone? |

Let's be realistic, would Potter really walk straight into the club and take kicking duties from a key player when that player was on 999? Maybe the pressure is off Longy now and he'll come good or the pressure is off Potter and he'll give it to someone else. Either's a winner. |
