Yeah, he is. This was a kind of warm up game for him.

I think you have to blame the players for the penaltys, not the ref.

I thought he did ok, though he probably needed to bin someone for the lack of discipline earlier in the match. Catalans are consistently the least disciplined team in the league so there was always going to be a ton of penalties going to happen and then add Wire's total collapse into the equation and methinks the ref might have felt it was a lost cause by about the start of the second half. (Much like Wire really - what is it with them? Their opposition fights back so they give up and die)

The only wrong decision he made, was not sending Westwood off.

He lost control of the game and probably wasn't used to that kind of match which SL refs are used and it was a bit of a scrappy affair. He should sent Westwood off, might have kept a bit of a lid on it.

Didnt think he did too badly.
No silly decisions and can see al the penalties being correct.

How westwood stayed on the pitch though. he did get that wrong.

no player should be sent off this season after Westwood got away with that, the officials totally bottled it

It's on report, so he'll probably get a ban, but he stayed on the pitch when he should have gone.
