Firstly, the disallowed try was a forward passes which was given by the touch judge, but, the try that Fox scored clearly shows his knee was on the white line which the touch judge indicated but Ian Smith who was , at least, 10 yards away and on the opposite side overruled him. Jammer was offside at the play the ball, so the correct decision was a penalty.Alot can be read into Ian Smith, but, however, we will be probably get alot more games with him this season, because of our Ashley going back to OZ.So expect alot more hits on this forum about his standards! Also, who was the video referee between Leeds and HKR and disallowed the try --- IAN SMITH! To cap it off, heard from a pie-fan, the pencilled in for the 9 April is .......IAN SMITH!

Ian Smith - April the 9th....................is Bad News Has he ever reffed a wigan/Saints derby before.
Can we not arrange a hijack that day and pack him off onto a one stop train to Scotland somewhere.
Or do you think Mick Potter will do an Anderson and send him the idiots guide to ref a rugby match.

Get over your win; its made you hypo and you should remember that Hull FC are the real force.

When you become even the best team in Humberside / East Yorks whereever then you can spout a bit.

I think you need to look at last seasons standings, pal.

Have you any idea which team have come out on top over the last two seasons? Think, before you post.

Bad decision.

Simply down to Saints believing that they could get away with anything - as they have done so many times before.

He did the infamous 2005 play off game where he "failed to notice" Terry Newton assaulting Lee Gilmour and Sean Long. For that game alone he should have been removed from the refereeing register.

I don't think Smith and Hock see "arm to arm" with one another as well.

Perhaps we should hope he refs all our matches before April and then we have a decent run in for the rest of the season like last year.

Please don't post on here again until your standard of English is higher than that of a 4 year old.

No, a Scouser at least has some grasp of the English language. He just can't swear without spitting.
