Surely Saints have a duty to ensure tickets out to the correct people. It isn't a new phenomenon. Otherwise what is to stop people who have season tickets but don't intend to go giving it to other people, meaning less chance for people to get them on general sale.

The ability to buy four extra tickets is also a joke.

What is stopping someone going to pick up their own ticket and then giving it to someone else anyway?

To be honest if I wasn't going (which I am!) but I knew someone who would otherwise be paying for a ticket I would happily give them my free ticket and would imagine most people would probably do the same.

Making people have to go to get their own ticket does nothing but add to the hassle.

I'll put any money on anyone wanting a ticket, getting one.

As you say, inconvinience (sp). People are less likely to give the ticket away if they have to travel to the GPS Stadium to exchange a ticket.

That on it's own is fine to an extent, and i see your point, but to also allow four ticket to be purchased is ridiculous. It should be one or maybe two extra tickets at most IMO.

It's obviously not going to happen but if every season ticket holder bought 5 (one free and 4 extra) we would have sold out our capacity of tickets easily before they even go on general sale.

As Gateaux has said, even if people don't attend they will probably give the free ticket away. We have more than 5,000 season ticket holders, if any are left for general sale it may only be a few hundred.

Read it though. We can get more.

All this panic may as well be faux panic for the sake of moaning.

We'll see what the queues are like outside the club shop tomorrow night. I predict chaos, with the 15,000 free junior season ticket holders in attendance!
