The Chinese chips never taste as good.

Bradford counting down.......This is the last play, Long.......kicks it wide to Iro, Iro to Hall, Hall is trapped, back it goes to Hoppe, over the shoulder to Hall, there is Jonkers, here is Long, Long fancies it, Long fancies it, it's wide to West, wide to West, Dwayne West, inside to Joynt, Joynt, Joynt, Joynttttttttttttttttttttt, ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, they've done it.
Everyone knows the best chippy in England, and it's nearly always the one around the corner from them.
HOWEVER, as for Smelluns; I remember a really nice chippy in Rainford, can't think of what it was called, however. It served English and Chinese food, and it was next to (or very close to) a Co-op.
Anybody know the name and what it's like these days?
We're the first ones to starve, we're the first ones to die The first ones in line for that pie-in-the-sky And we're always the last when the cream is shared out For the worker is working when the fat cat's about

Might have been.
Though I seem to recall it having a semi-witty name.

Used to be Lathoms on Greenfield Road/Dentons Green Lane (whichever one the down towards town one is), now it's either The Tasty Corner or The Crispy Cod. The chips aren't bad in Chans on Knowsley Road either.
Maybe if we don't get the League Leader's Shield this year we might win the Grand Final. Hmmmm...

rainford supper bar was easily the best chinese take away for years - gone a little bit down hill since a few staff changes - still the only place for salt & pepper chicken though.
