As you said the ball was played forward.so the try should have been disallowed for an incorrect play the ball, which is what I said, not that Higham knocked on.

The Higham try was absolutely correct. The ball was rolled backwards as it was placed on the ground and then the foot was used to play the ball backwards which is the players only obligation. If you watch the video you can clearly see his foot in front of the ball, as the foot plays the ball it hits the ground and bounces forwards to have been an incorrect ptb the foot would have had to knock the ball forwards from behind, this it clearly didn't do.
