Finishing top of Super League is a much greater achievement than being world club chapions imo.
It shows you been the best team in Super League over 27 rounds of a season, which is a great feat. Especially 4 seasons on the trot.
Saints are the most succesfull team in recent years, including the last 5.

Anyway regarding the draw lets just hope the pitches start to dry out and some British sunshine greets us over the next few weeks. As proved last season on three occassions Saints v Leeds on a dry track equates to a convincing win for the S men.

It would mean more with a balanced fixture schedule straight home and away so there are flaws to your argument!!
Don't forget to compete in WCC you have to win the BIGGEST fixture of the season at old trafford so again there's flaws in your argument.
I'm more than happy with our success as it stands and there's plenty more finals to come imo.

I'm not knocking your teams success, but it has been a belief of mine that to top the league at the end of the weekly rounds is slightly more credit worthy than playing in a knockout comp at the end of the season to produce an overall winner. An arguemnt used by some to devalue the Challenge Cup I know, but that is a tradition that should never be sneered at, as it allows lower league and non-league teams the chance of a giant killing performance which could be the crowning glory for a lot of players for the rest of their lives
CHALLENGE CUP WINNERS 2006,'07 & '08
Giant killers, Dragon slayers & Airlie Birds wing clippers
75-0 thats a record score... 16 yrs of misery, gone in 80 minutes
If God took up rugby league then his name would have been Vollenhoven with AJ Murphy along too
