If he was in contention for the Aussie squad he is not average. If Cayless goes as seems to be expected then we will need another prop, I'm sure it's just the club doing it's homework and looking at options which is a much more sensible approach than the panic buy situation

His agent was in sydney morning helarld yesterday saying st.george are delaying him a new contract, he could go elsewhere etc.
Seems to me this story was probably invented by his agent to get st.george to sign him up again. As he isn't yet 30 they can't use Wigan as an excuse as he isn't past it yet

TBH ive never heard of Justin Poore till yesterday....but as he has never played SOO or international he must be average - afterall Chris Flannery has 10 SOO caps.

I suspect that Lynch would be cheaper and he is a very good player IMO- and it would be more beneficial to the English game to have him - so I would go for Lynch over Poore.

Andy Lynch will be 30 this season and doesn't have the best of records regarding injuries, but he is a good player when fit.
