Erm, at the moment, yes!

No we aren't Graham is missing, that's it. Cayless is missing, but last week proved he isn't fit and he hardly set the game alight last season.

Graham and Cayless, thats a mighty part of the wage bill out injured.

Meli offers nothing on the wing that an academy player couldn't carry out, except explosive power. This is something we are going to be severely lacking in when missing our two best props.

If you think Maurie and Hargreaves can carry a pack on their own, then I suggest you have a rethink after Sunday (thankfully it is a Crabtree-less Huddersfield and not Leeds or Catalan, but we will still struggle up front).


Ps - Nothing convenient about it mate, Armstrong should be given a run in the first team after a promising debut in my opinion.

My mistake then, lets hope your right about your your original post and meli comes back soon, and you get your wish and he replaces the two injured props.
Don't worry about Maurie and Fas carrying the pack on their own. Don't forget we have just signed a prop of some distinction in Tony P.

If it was my wish, Meli wouldn't have got a new deal, or if that wasn't granted he would have a big red 'Refused' stamp on his visa application, with the spare money being spent on another player.

However, this didn't happen, so I'm just trying to see something positive out of a bad piece of business.

Puletua or not, backing from only Maurie and Hargreaves will not be enough to dominate packs against the better teams this season. I'm not saying that adding Meli would be equivalent to Graham or Cayless, but a 16 and a half stone bloke wouldn't exactly hinder our go-forward.
