Sad news that of one of the pioneers of electronic music has died age 70.
Most people will have heard Tangerine Dream through their lives even if they havn't actually heard of the band.
The music they created has been in various TV documentaries, they produced loads of film sound tracks and were highly regarded throughout the music world.
Where they led Kraftwerk, Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis etc followed. Their music may not have been to everyones taste, isn't that the beauty though of music, but Edgar Froeses influence runs deep.
Whether TD continue as a band (so many different lineups) without their founder and constant is open to debate
A great artist has passed on. RIP
