Sad news, but admire his resolve to pack as much in to whatever he has left. He was on at Holmfirth last year and I didn't go. Hope he stops by again on this forthcoming tour

Saw him in Sheffield a couple of years ago (along with Norman Watt-Roy), He's not got the greatest voice tbh, but more than makes up for that with his playing.

Oil City Confidential is well worth a watch aswell, although I may be somewhat biased as I was growing up in the 70's & early 80's up within a couple of miles of Canvey Island where most of it was filmed.

Balls. Just remembered that tickets went on sale for the Holmfirth gig this morning. Of course it's sold out.

Wilko was actually approached as a replacement for Mick Taylor in the Stones. Can you imagine him and Jagger on the same stage. Be like two little boys with ADHD trying to out do each other. Not the best idea ever
