Now, I'm not particularly a fan of the Cribs either, but they are NOTHING like the Script - There is absolutely no comparison.The Script are actually just a British/Irish take on Maroon 5 - both are absolutely awful, but like what always happens in British/Irish music, if there is a successful American act, then some faceless committee in a boardroom in London or Dublin always decides to dream up a copycat act. Witness Professor Green's terrible impersonation of Eminem, or Jessie J's take on Katy Perry - Absolutely terrible and an embarrassment for all involved in their creation. Also, as for Eminem, why, 15 years after becoming successful and fantastically rich, does the boring fooker keep peddling the same self-pitying nonsense, especially the tedious stuff about his relationship with his mum?? And, while I'm having a rant, why can't U2 just give it up now??.... the musical equivalent of the embarrassing uncle dancing at the wedding. |
