Mine The Office Phoenix Nights Blackadder Fawlty Towers Monty Python's Flying Circus Early Doors Knowing Me Knowing You/I'm Alan Partridge Peep Show Extras This Country I think the top two are my favourites because I find them so relatable, you feel like you have met a lot of the characters. Only Fools and Horses usually gets picked top when they put it to a vote, and I do enjoy it when it's on, but I can't pick a series who's greatest moment is someone falling over. Special mention to Vic and Bob, I probably should have found a place for Shooting Stars in there somewhere. |

Porridge #1 for me Till death us do part (no comment, unless ypu like racism and xenophobia) Fawlty Towers #2, Cleese knew when to stop The Royle Family (have a word, it's crap) Rising Damp (as above) Blackadder (#3) Hancock's half hour (not a sitcom) I wouldn't include The Office in any list as Gervais is a (insert word here), likewise Phoenix Nights because of Peter Kay, I would chuck Butterflies, Lovejoy lots of others in there, Red Dwarf, Minder. One thing is for certain, all of them were better than the American garbage we have to flick past now. |

So according to you, You have to be into racism and bigotry to like a comedy show that's mocking racism and bigotry? And you're trying to tell me that the situation comedy "Hancock's half hour" isn't a situation comedy? |

Strange that no-ones mentioned the longest running,(1973-2010) and best of the lot, Last of the Summer Wine. Also Auf Weidersehen, Pet deserves a mention, as well as On the Buses. |
