... Kristen Schaal. I've seen some fantastically talented actresses over the years - but this girl is truly mesmerizing. A genuine one-off. Watching her in Flight of the Conchords I didn't know whether I was going to die laughing or die with a broken heart. Can't think of anyone who can flip between comedy and tragedy so naturally and intuitively. One minute you're rooting for her as the underdog - the next you're wondering whether you'll escape her alive. And when all else fails - her voice is an animator's dream. |

She's also in 'Last Man on Earth', she absolutely steals the show. I'd never heard of her (having not watched either of the above shows) but I agree that voice of hers is made for Pixar. She provides one of the voices in the brilliant 'Gravity Falls' on Disney XD. Sh does a great job. |
