Apologies for bringing this to your attention so late in the series but I hope with the wonders of catch up tv you can go back and watch the entire series before the season finale next week. It's wonderfully dark and gitty. A very simple story wonderfully told about a criminal family in Naples and their battles with other families. Ciro for me is the star - I can't wait to see how it plays out in the season finale next week. Up until a few weeks ago I was thinking that I preferred Romanzo Criminale but the way the story has evolved over the last few weeks this could be better. |

I've recorded the whole series but haven't got around to watching any of it yet; the recommendation helps - I'll pull my finger out and give it a go! |

Been watching this since it started, and definitely one of my fave shows of the year. The battle with other families is great, but it's the internal battles that I find so intriguing and watchable. |

Spot on Mike. This week in particular I did not see coming. Interesting end with Dad being assessed - you think he might make an appearance 'outside' next week? |

There will be some big twist for the season finale I'm sure, whether it's with Pietro or Gennaro/Ciro, I can't decide yet. I just hope they do a 2nd season, as it's definitely one of the best and underrated shows on at the moment. |

If Ciro makes it out of this season alive then he is a very clever man. I think Pietro is 'putting it on' with the hope of being moved to a less secure unit. Me too - a second season would be brilliant. With how popular it was in Italy and how well it has been sold overseas they'd be mad not to. |

I won't divulge what happened last night as I don't want to spoil it for anybody. A finish to the season which the season deserved. If you haven't seen it then please go back and watch it. If another one is never made then we had a fitting conclusion but we were also left with a great potential starting point for another season. |

Finally watched the first 2 episodes and I like it; not quite as kitchen sink or snappy as The Sopranos - its edgier and grimier and an altogether different beast. Enjoying it though, and I like the concentration required to watch a show with subtitles - I fully expect to be fluent in Italian by the end of the series. |

Going to watch episode 9 tonight. Absolutely superb TV and I can't wait to see in which direction it goes next. Already know something I shouldn't through reading the thread but I wanted to mention it on here anyway. As I'm sure you are aware they start filming Season 2 next month and it will air August/September time. |
