Has anyone else been watching this?

I've really enjoyed it; inspired by the brilliant Coen brothers film and has the same tone - a jarring clash of homespun mundanity and brutal inhumanity. It weaves the events of the original film very cleverly into the storyline and has some excellent performances, particularly from Martin Freeman, who is unexpectedly good as Lester Nygaard, the (at first) mild mannered main protagonist.

Recommended - a really enjoyable series.

Loved it, especially Gus shooting the swine with in a nervous but quick fashion and no silly monologue - as I suspect is how these things really happen.

What a great series. Great script, well shot and a fantastic soundtrack. Highly recommended.

Some great characters in this series as well. Freeman has really stepped up his game in my opinion.

Just watched this series on NETFLIX after watching the film again, which i had seen years ago but well worth watching again. The series is fantastic, Billy Bob Thornton is brilliant in the role as the mysterious hitman and Freeman likewise as the hapless Nygaard.

I would recommend this to anyone who has the chance to watch, up there with Breaking Bad, The Wire, Sopranos etc.. in great tv shows i have watched and glad to hear they are bringing in a 2nd season this year which will focus on the late 70's and the case Touched on by Molly's father, an ex cop, in this series.
