James Franco and the director are having a hissy fit about a sequel being made without involving them. Seeing as James Franco was the worst thing about the film and the film was a mess when it could have been awesome I'm exceptionally glad about them being dumped.

I would think the biggest joke is comparing 'Spring Breakers' to 'Taxi Driver' in the first place - Surely Franco is being ironic?

I should hope he is - just watched Spring Breakers and it's safe to say that I'll be giving the sequel a miss; it was dire.

"Look at my 5hit!" hardly compares to, "are you talking to me?"

Spring Breakers was terrible.
