I know I'm about 20 years or so behind with this, but I've just finished watching the Sharpe series from beginning to end. Enjoyed every minute of it. Taped the Waterloo episode off the TV in the late 90's and seen that one numerous times so figured it was time to watch them all. Would recommend for enthusiasts of the era. |

Big fan of sharpe, loved the books as well. Gonna have to bring out sharpe box set now!! |

Some of the acting leaves a little to be desired, but for either Sharpe or era enthusiasts they're not bad. The Waterloo one is one of the better ones in my opinion. |

In some ways I'm glad I saw the last one first as it softened the blow of certain happenings in it. I did always winder though if somebody in the early 1800's would use the phrase "f**k you, your Royal High tw*t". |
