Did anyone else watch the first episode last night?

A French series with English subtitles - superbly stylish, dark and profoundly disturbing, in a non-schlocky, blood and guts kind of way. Je t'aime!

Saw it last night and looking forward to the next episode.

That young kid (was he Victor?) gave me the creeps from the get go.

Victor was a bit Damien/Omenish.
Looking forward to round two.

Thought the subtitles would put me off but it's so good I reckon it adds to it, very good indeed but do hope it has a conclusion.

This series is infuriatingly good! Normally, I'd expect to have figured out what's going in by this stage in proceedings, but I confess to not having a bloody clue.

I get that Pierre is gathering The Returned at The Helping Hand but beyond that, I'm stumped.

i love it and the music as well. So atmospheric and creepy . I think the music is done by Mogwai. Great series i just hope the creepy kid gets bumped off soon he freaks me out.

something to do with the dam and the dead coming back for some closure or something

I think there's some difference between the 'old' dead and the 'new' dead, but I can't be sure about it; also, what's the significance of the baby??

Either way, this has been brilliant TV - the visuals, performances and unhurried pacing are an absolute joy; very much looking forward to the next series.

Great series but cop out ending, getting a bit tired of these go nowhere series - lets hope series 2 is the last and gives real closure. We don't want another Lost.
