remade. Better technology these days for SFX and CGI than the ground breaking original. I'm not a fan of remakes but check out the trailer on you tube. Producers include Sam Raimi and Bruce Campbell. Director and Actor of the original. So can't be that bad.

Meh to the cgi.... there is none in this film. Am going to watch next week looking forward to a decent horror film for nearly a decade now and this promises to be a belter!

It'll be rubbish - has there ever been a remake of a classic horror that's improved on the original? Texas Chainsaw, Nightmare on Elm St, Halloween, Friday 13th etc etc - all crap. I'm sure it will make some money, but the kids of today will never experience the unalloyed joy of some of the genuinely horrifying movies of my youth; in this particular genre, they really don't make 'em like they used to.

Watched it last month. Waste of money, does not have the suspense or intensity of the original, just a lot more gore.

Plenty of blood and guts in it. Not at all scary.
Science flies people to the moon. Religion flies people into buildings.
