Anyone else a fan? Went out on a limb at the beginning of the year and got the 4 season box set, worth every penny imo! Can't wait for the 6th

Also, Christina Hendricks:

I love Mad Men. I got into it a year or so ago and watched it religiously. I was about to start all the way from the beginning again - but it's so intense, I haven't started again yet!

January Jones is my cup of tea. Alison Brie is not too shabby either!

Speaking of Alison Brie, have you seen Community? (I'll start a new thread on that)

I'm going to go through it again soon, season 5 is out on DVD soon I think. Hopefully Walking Dead can keep me going until the next series. Don is the man!

Do like a bit of January as well, and Alison... actually, almost every girl in the show is pretty damn stunning!

Never heard of Community before, but reading up now, will try and check it out

Unreal show and amazing how it kept getting better and better through season 3-5. Think they are starting to film season 6 now. Without it and Breaking Bad I've turned to Homeland as the only thing I watch.

I remember about mid season 3ish I thought it was getting a bit stale & samey... That didn't last! Can't wait for more of this and Breaking Bad too. Walking Dead is keeping me going atm

Finally got around to watching the first few episodes of Mad Men - Season 1 & 2 are on Sky Anytime+ as a box set.

The constant smoking and unfettered misogyny are rather uncomfortable, but I guess that's culturally and historically accurate; the production values, script and performances are cracking though - I'm just hoping that Don and co are reconstructed as the story progresses and that at least some of them try to stop smoking. I'm taking an early guess that Peggy will develop as a character and strike a blow for wimmin's rights?

I will say there's lots of character & social development throughout the show. I was ready to pack it in about mid-series 3, but stick it out, it's awesome.

Bought the boxset on Bluray the other day. Loving it so far!

Just finished watching season 2 - it was a dip in form compared to season 1 in my view, which was outstanding, but I shall persevere; I think season 4 airs on Sky Atlantic in April, so I'll have to speed-watch season 3 to catch up.

In general terms, it's brilliant telly - outstanding actors, excellent production values and some genuinely engaging storylines; I'm glad I jumped on board.

Think I might have to give this a watch, it's one of those shows that I've been unsure of due to the fact that despite it's universal critical acclaim and many awards I don't think I've ever actually met anybody that watches it.
