Post subject:  Breaking Bad
Is this show really as good as the hype it's getting? Watched the first series a while back and wasn't interested enough to carry on watching, but I've been led to believe from numerous people that I'm missing out on one of the best shows of recent years. As a result I've watched the first series again but the enthusiasm to carry on just isn't there. :? The original storyline is just ridiculous to me, Walt wouldn't say boo to a goose and all of a sudden he's capable all doing all sorts of crime? Some of the acting is terrible too, in particular from Jesse, the wife and Tucco of the prominent cast.

Is it really worth me carrying on? No spoilers please in case you end up convincing me.

I've watched all the series, and its one of the best programmes I've seen in recent years, that gets better every series.

I'm up to series 4 possibly the best us tv show ever made.
The character development is supperb. And stunning acting.

Finished series 4 and it does get much better imo. Great show, definitely one of my favourites

Yes, its one of the few programmes that get better with each series. The first half of series 5 is brilliant, gutted the last 8 episodes won't be on until July.

Not got to that yet, but going to get to it soon for sure. I'd say it stands just behind Mad Men on my fave shows list. Although if The Walking Dead continues at its current pace it'll be a serious contender for the number 2 spot.

Just finished the half way point in season 5. I didnt think the show could get better after season 4 but so far it wipes the floor with it.
Stick with it, my favourite show of all time

two episodes into series 5 on netflix. full series dvd out in june 2013.

did not no how they where going to go after the climax to season 4. if they ended it there i would have been happy, but so far season 5 is shaping up nicely.

I'm up to episode three of season two and already completely hooked. A great programme.
