I'd rather Holroyd went, but the length of his contract makes it impossible. It's the club's fault. Can't blame the kid for making a living.

Hopefully we have someone else coming in, otherwise we look a bit thin if we are relying on Holdroyd as 5th prop and TNW

Gamble that didn't work. You can add size and strength in the gym, you can add skills on the training pitch, but it's hard to add raw aggression and determination which were the things that Justin was missing.

We need to be a little bit careful about replacing the losses in the pack. Whilst the incoming players seem to be better (or better prospects) than those leaving, we need to watch out that we don't go too low on numbers too.

This was the right decision.

Totally agree. More than any other position, prop forward is a numbers game. You only have to look at Wigan to see that. Glad that Sangare has gone (and good luck to him at Salford) but we can't leave Arthur hamstrung with only 5 senior props. Not if he wants to play a power game.
