Wane Names Provisional Squad for Samoa Test Series
England Head Coach Shaun Wane has named a 31-strong performance squad ahead of this autumn's two-game series against Samoa, with the selected players set to meet for an off-field session on Monday 16 September.

Wigan Warriors breakout star Junior Nsemba is the newest name included – and the youngest player in the squad, after turning 20 in June - after some standout performances for the reigning Betfred Super League, Challenge Cup and World Club Challenge champions.

Nsemba's Wigan team-mate Liam Marshall is the only other uncapped player included with the Warriors flyer leading the try-scoring charts in the Betfred Super League with 22 tries: five more than his nearest challenger*.

Newman shouldn't be available full-stop, he's either playing injured or seriously out of form, or both.

As well as Hill, Bateman, Newman.
I`m not so sure Dupree or Havard have done a right lot lately even though I rate both of them.
But not much out there to replace them.
Pity they didn`t let the likes of Rourke and Leyland into the squad even if it was for the experience.
I also thought Johnstone was injured?

Shocking squad, its like 10-11 wigan or ex Wigan. Not selecting on form just picking his favourites, Bateman and Hill!!!

Just made even less interested in something I have little interest In any more.

Why would anyone pay to watch a Wigan team plus a few others masquerading as an international side.

Although they are the best team in the Comp and have a lot of English players.
Whilst it`s always good to win an International series I personally would have liked to see a number of fringe players given a chance to show what they can do.
