Look what happened in the 'winnable' games against Cas and Wakefield last season. I'm not saying it is a certainty, but Leeds have a habit of finding a way to lose in these kinds of games, especially when we are coming off poor form and the expectation of fans and media is behind us. On paper we should win convincingly, but if the mentality isn't there a loss feels like it is on the cards. I hope I'm wrong!

For some reason this team (and those of everyone since and including McDermott) seem to be brought down to the quality of the opposition instead of playing at the level they are capable of.

Swap Miller and Edgell.

Anything could happen in this game... impossible to call. play like we did in the first half v wire and we should win comfortably but god knows..

Been told Riley Lumb could make his full debut for us on wing this weekend.

Ok that’s interesting.

This selection is nails and RS is going to have to show some good judgement and bottle here.

Miller
Edgell, Roberts, Momirovski, McCormack
Croft, Frawley
Mik, Ackers, Sangare
Martin, McDonnell
Smith:

O’Connor, TNW, Ruan, Lisone

Edgell is good under the high ball and Roberts will be less exposed at centre, so we should be sound under kick pressure that side. I’d try to keep some consistency in the pack but Ruan replaces Goudemand for me if fit.

This lot get beaten by 50 pts every week , so not sure where we go if we can't win this one as they really are garbage .

Why not select Handley. He is not fit so meets RS criteria. Panic by rushing back and then out for extra 10 weeks!!!!

Fus injured is other knee.Considering how Smith is looking after Gannon i not sure how you've come to Smith panicking on selecting players unfit?

RS said this about Bentley
Quote:

He could be another couple of weeks, or he could be longer than that. We’re trying not to reserve judgement until we know and until the
consultant gives us the direction on that one.

“James is in decent health but he’s not able to crank up the training load as yet. He’s in good spirits, staying positive and hoping that we can turn a corner with it and get back to full training sometime soon.”

Shame, we could do with his aggression on the pitch right now.
