Post subject:  SL CHAT THREAD | OTHER TEAMS GAMES

I`ve noticed one or two Boards have a similar topic and find it interesting to hear the views of other teams.
Is it worth us having a similar thread?
I will kick it off from last nights KR/Wire game.
Thought KR were the better team after they woke up already 10 down.
Ryan Hall still looking good and for me Mikey Lewis pretty much the standout halfback in SL so far.
Great talent and only 24 years old.
Wire to their credit kept going and Dufty their best player.
I reckon they will be similar to us this year and look much better on firmer ground.
Wilkin again talking bollards.
Mods feel free to bin this thread if you feel it`s not needed, I won`t get upset!

No, it's a good idea.
Rovers butchered a fair few chances but then again wire's goalkicking was gash. Either side could have won.
Paul Cooke adds value as an expert, wilkin spouting the usual bollo while looking like he'd spent the night on a park bench and the morning with the early shift in wetherspoons.

Thought it was a good game with Wire riding their luck to get the win. On a general point it looked to be an excellent crowd. Despite the fuss about officiating and the blanket TV coverage attendances across the league have been pretty strong so far this year. RL is a very resilient beast.

Indeedy. Barely a high shot last night which helped the flow albeit the VR seemed to be angling for a best director oscar.
Good to see the fans out, there's probably only FC, Cas and London with a justifiable air of gloom.

What was it 9 try`s and only 3 conversions?
Good job we have Rhyseee.
Now that`s probably jinxed it for tonight.

Caught the highlights of the other games, great win by Salford after it looked in the bag for Saints. Didn't get a good look at the red for Percival but guess there was head contact.

Cas look woeful, hope they've won before they play us.

KR are not as good as their fans think they are IMO, they're missing a controlling halfback.

What Ive noticed from quite a few games on TV is that some teams treat goal kicking as an afterthought.

It makes a massive difference.

I agree, goal kicking across the league is the worst I can remember.

Watched the Salford Saints game this morning and thought Grant made some strange decisions.
Full credit to Salford who kept battling.
Looks like Hurrell for Percival Friday.
Also thought Lomax went missing second half.
