2024 Super League Opening Rounds Fixtures Released
Ahead of tomorrow's full fixture release, the opening two round of Super League XXIX have been announced with the opening game being a Thursday night Hull derby with the Black and White half of the city hosting the Red and Whites which is sure to get the season off to a tremendous start on the fifteenth of February.

The following night will see three games with Leeds Rhinos taking on the Salford Red Devils at the AMT Headingley Stadium while St Helens are visited by the new boys the London Broncos and last season's sensations the Leigh Leopards face the Huddersfield Giants who will be hoping for a vast improvement over last year.

Reckon we should be looking at winning 8 of the first 10, 7 at worst.

The fixture planning is poor imo. We don't play Wigan until August ?? ridiculous and skews the table..

We'll have played everyone else twice before we've played Wigan once.

I see Leeds currently play all home games on a Friday night barring two on a Saturday. No Thursday games.

I don't know why it is so difficult for the RFL to play the first 11 fixtures, followed by the reverse 11 fixtures before the loop games at the end with the magic game being the exception.

Likewise, did I read Huddersfield are away 7 out of their first 9 games. Surely, teams should alternate between home and away matches and at the very most play no more than two consecutive away games. Seems very amateur as usual.
