No shock here - I’ll reserve any judgement until I see him play for us but he seems skilful and a good character - for me the success of his signing will depend on who else we get at 7, and in the pack. Hope he goes well.

Just to echo KaeruJim, he's a Leeds player from 2024 and we can only fairly judge him based on what he does when he gets here.
I see Smith is heralding this as a team-oriented player who wants to be here. This is all well and good. Smith is clearly staking his coaching reputation on this working out so if it doesn't, the fans who have already made up their minds that Smith is the wrong man for Leeds will be happy, no doubt.
It's probably a good thing that expectations are low (at this point in time) for next season

Yes mate, personally I still think RS has a master plan but if he doesn’t get proved right in these next signings for a club like these with the cap and quota spots he has, he will lose his job over it. He simply has to be able to put a squad together that will make top 4 next season for me or he’ll have to go.

Quote from Raiders fans twitter, to be fair that does sound like what we need.
“He has a very good kicking game. Good cross field bombs and short attacking kicks his best. Left foot. Five eighth definitely his best spot. Experienced, calm, a leader, can organise, but best as a secondary playmaker. Can play hooker at a pinch.”

Iv tried, but just cant get excited for this one, watched as much as i can of him over the last few days, which admittedly is only 7 games, and its just backed up the memories i have from his time at Huddersfield, extremely average.
Coupled with the post about Bentley resigning, could not be any more deflated about how we're using this cap space we've been waiting for, a team crying out for some speed and dynamism, commiting to 2 of the slowest, least dynamic players you could find in there respective positions, an udersized prop who works hard but dosnt punch holes, resigned Donaldson because every team needs a player like Donaldson, agreed, problem is we'v now got 4 of them.
Miller i like, but on the whole, think we're doing a horrible job with next years squad so far.
But on the plus side, iv been wrong plenty of times before, Hopefully the team is better than the sum of its parts

Interesting reading Rohan's comments about him are all about him being a good team man. Hardly selling him as the messiah. Maybe that's a good thing, but holy smoke if that really is the best they can do after knowing we'd need at least one halfback for a year then deary me.
Having said all that, I'll support him now he's signed, and will shut up about how really not very good he is.

Exactly, the comments are strange imo, its like they know the general feeling of the fans, but the best they can offer with a straight face are that he wants to be here and he's a good bloke.
