Good event today, took my old man along. Kevin Dick, Keith Senior, Barry Seabourne and Jim Bacon entered the hall of fame. Syd Hynes was over from Australia and first team squad there as well. Some good comedy moments from Kevin Dick and JJB. Bit sad they could not trace any relatives of Jim Bacon but lovely emotional moments for Barry Seabourne and Kevin. |

He was a real character. Used to drive Andy Gregory bananas. |

Kevin seemed to punch Andy Gregory on the blindside at the first scrum as a matter of course, it was as expected as kicking off. Produced some great big match performances, think his best 2 were both at Fartown, in 79 premiership final where he gave the finest all round kicking display I think I’ve ever seen and won Harry Sunderland trophy and the year later where he did something similar to Hull KR in Yorkshire cup final. When Phil Caplan introduced him he started going on about nicknames, and said he was known as the “Iron Teddy Bear”, I’ve never heard that one , can anyone else recall it? |

I've half a memory of Eddie Waring calling him that but dont remember it being widely applied by the fans |

It was a great afternoon. Kevin clearly not a fan of Parker pens though, eh. |
