It would be a real shame if he were to leave - looks like a good young player

Who is his agent - hopefully not SMTM

Agreed.

We shouldn't be letting good young English players leave when it's down to a guy who wont/ shouldn't be here next year.

Is he the next Walmsley? Probably not. But if he keeps improving he could be a good solid player fir a long time.

I would say he has certainly got the potential to take Tetavanos place next season and is imo already a better prospect than both Sangare and Lisone.
Sounds like he was the player who was looking to leave last year due to a lack of opportunities.
He is no Walmsley and has blown hot and cold. But he does have potential and he is English and not on quota.
2 year deal with a 1 year option either way is sensible.

Walmsley was no Walmsley at Sam’s age. We should be getting him tied up for three years and then if he’s not going to play this year, send him to Wakey where he will play every game he is fit for and can really develop.

It would be madness to let him leave because we can’t put a development path in place for him.

We need to hold on to these talented youngsters - with Holdroyd, Johnson, O'Connor, Gannon and him you have the core of a pack for many years to come.

Quite a lot of rumours linking him to saints - anything in it do you know?

He's only 22, as a prop very young. I'd be very concerned about what's going on if he goes to St's.

I don't think he's as good as Tyler Dupree, and other than a decent spell against Saints, I think he's struggled with first grade so far. There's a good player in there, but he's definitely not lived up to the hype he was getting when we signed him.

A man that tall and lean will struggle to run his weight no matter how hard he trains. Unless he can beef up some his level will be more kirke or mullally than walmsley.
