Made a new topic as we don't have injuries thread for 2023.

And it's not good news on the injury front.

I'm told by my source Harry Newman has re-injured his hamstring sprinting in training this week. Not sure if it's the same hamstring he was recovering from or it's his other one but either way it isn't good. Just hope it's not servere as I fear it could be a while before we see him back on the pitch.

Also not sure when this was done but Max Simpson has a knee injury fears it could be ACL so not good for him at all.

Couple of key injuries in centre but I feel we have plenty of depth in squad to cover in Macdonald, Fusitu'a, Olpherts, Martin, Roberts, Edwards.

If Newman is injured again that’s unbelievable. Lad is cursed and could have a short career. We will miss not having Zak in the squad.

If this Is true it’s Terrible news and could actually derail our season. Not to mention the poor lad himself.

If his hamstring's gone again the club need to get in touch with Manly pronto and find out how they sorted Tommy Turbo.

Cant be helped but our injury record is absolutely ridiculous, if we didnt get bad luck, we'd get none at all.

If true and Fusi does want out, would be good business to sign and NRL reserve centre……
We are already short at centre with a fit Newman!

Exactly what I was going to say. They sent him to a specialist in the states I believe. If true it's a terrible blow, but if I'm honest, one I was half expecting.

If people think getting over serious hamstring issues and ops is that simple, worthy thinking again!

Noticed two players had to leave the field with ankle injuries today sustained on the sandy end of the field. Dangerous is that.

If true then he must have injured his hamstring today
