Matt Prior confirms that he intends to play on next season and will retire at the end of the 2023 season. However, the wording of the article seems to me that he may decide to go out as a winner if we win on Saturday. |

He shouldn't even be making that decision as he should never have been offered more than this year in the first place. |

I think its more if a case if he’s been told he wont be first choice next year and maybe Saturday is is best chance to win, as he may be squad player/injuries only next year. |

Not sure there will be many clubs in the NRL clamouring to sign him next year. |

Mr Prior is robbing a living, his contribution alone in the GF was woeful. Can't believe you gave him an extended contract. Sort your recruitment out and that will be a start? |

Was great for us first 2 years, poor last year. Some will be gleeful of his retirement which is harsh for a generally good value signing. Obviously salary and quota now open. |

Very surprised we've managed to convince him to retire, but the right decision. Imagine a centre is incoming. Now to get rid of Tetavano, imagine we could sign a better younger prop from an emerging nation on less money. |

I think Zane performed well at the back end of the season and happy for him to stay and see out his final year. 8. Oledzki, 9. Leeming, 10. Tetevano 11. Bentley, 12. Martin 13. Smith 14. O’Connor, 15. Gannon, 16. Lisone, 17. Sangare 18. Holroyd, 19. Walters |

I'm not sure we've convinced him per se, I think he was probably told he had to go to the Bulls or similar and thought retiring was a better option (I don't blame him) We will have had to pay him off, does that go on the cap or not? |
