Tetevano has had some stick on here in recent weeks and rightly so. He's been really poor and a complete liability. But he had a good game last night and ran hard and showed up in D. He's not a poor player. You don't play at the very top level in the NRL for many years if you're not a quality player. It simply doesn't happen. Only one game, but I hope he can turn a corner and Rohan can get the best out of him. He's here next season no matter what. In Rohan we trust..... |

Just a shame most of that was played in a position we don't need him for. |

Hes not a bad player, he has just spent more time banned than on the pitch. Then when he does get back he's rusty and then banned again. Sadly hes just not been able to string together enough good games to show his ability or prove his worth |

Generally he did better but I’ll put my miserable hat on for 2 bits of play. 1) switched off from marker and fell for Parcell dummy for first try. 2) in second half he’s put through the line and has a 2 on 1 to draw the full back, but he’s carrying the ball in 1 hand as he approaches the FB, that’s poor play and to my mind shows he has limited ability. |

He just seems to lack any effort / intensity. There is an amazing player who has all the physical attributes in there but I don't think he is motivated to play at his best. I don't know why |

I don't know why Yeh, that's what I mean. There's got to be a good player in there, given his credentials. Hopefully Rohan can get it out in the way Agar couldn't. |

I don't know why I disagree with that. Think he's really trying at the moment. In fact I don't think lack of effort has ever been the issue over the last two years. Lack of discipline, lack of brains - absolutely, but I don’t think he’s ever phoned it in. He also gets blamed for missed tackles where his culpability his only marginal at best. Last week against Salford, Walters didn't even attempt a tackle for Croft's try yet people were still bagging Tetavano for it. This week O’Connor got it equally wrong for the Parcell try, but nobody is giving him any stick. Look, I know he's been a massive dissapointment and may never go on to justify the ridiculous "Marquee " tag, but since he's going to be here another year I'm hoping the last two weeks are the start in prolonged upturn in form. He'll certainly benefit (as will all the others) from being in a proper four prop rotation next week. |
