Is he the most improved player in SL this season?

Seems to be thriving under the new coach - looks like he has also lost some bulk and his status in the team seems to have grown?

He’s definitely improved since the coaching change, but he was dire at the start of the season (but who wasn’t) Lets hope his form continues and he kicks on another level.

Some fans have been too critical of him in the past imo. He’s having a great year. I’d have him in the England squad.

He’s been asked to play in a role that’s suits now, and as a result, his discipline seems to have improved.

I’m not sure about England yet, but he is in a small group of actual ball handling 13s.

I also like how Smith (Rohan) is tactical in who he picks to start at 13, and favours using smith off the bench against bigger packs like Catalan.

He's still a momentum stopper for me. He'll stop and head back to an area we've just cleared.

Good to see him playing well again. He's shown how hard he can work in defence in the past but nn a bad day he has looked sluggish and doesn't react quickly enough to situations, killing plays (sometimes on the last tackle). His development under Agar was very up and down - hopefully R. Smith will oversee more sustained improvement.

Very involved v Catalans I thought. Having criticised him in the past for switching off at key moments I have to say he's impressed me mightily of late.
