Terrible news, was good for us in that 78 season and good in the cup final.
Quite a character, went walkabout a bit in his career but had a lot of talent.

Makes me feel very sad and a bit old to think of that try in 78 when Crane combined with John Holmes and Les to put Atky in and they are all no longer with us.

And what an incident packed game that was Clearwing, I remember Mick kicking through the Aussie test sides line leaving them all standing, wonderful character, and outstanding footballer.
