Interesting to let a player go through mid season, especially one like Alex Mellor. Fallen down the pecking order at the club so can’t blame him. |

I’ve heard Oliver Partington as a possible! I reckon that’s rubbish though. Are we maybe clearing cap space for Hardaker or woukd thst have had to be done straight away? |

Or could it mean an upgrade to Martins contract as a sweetner to get him to re sign? |

Clearly RS is making some changes. Just hope it means we are lining up players to sign fir next season and not panic buying in the bargain bin |

Liked Mellor, he showed glimpses, but just has not done enough to earn another deal, so not too bothered he has gone. Its now up to the likes of Walters to step up no one “blocking” his path now. |

Will leeds be compensated as he's been let go before his contract ends? If not what's the point unless it suits both parties freeing up space for someone to come in? |
