Yep definitely. It may also be a cap issue and he's an obvious candidate as apparently signing for Cas

Quite liked Jack but i feel he just lacks a little something. Will do ok at Cas but not good enough for what we need to be aiming for.

He's 21, and really should be knocking down the door to be picked every week. If not then its best for all parties for him to move on. I personally don't think he's been given the best chance to show what he's got, but its clear Smith saw enough from his one appearance to know he's just not there yet. We've shown in the past few years that hanging on to players too long creates problems all round. Good luck to him anyway.

Shame he hasn't been able to break through. Think there is a lot of talent there, but if he can't get past Sutcliffe he needs to move on for the sake of his own development.

My guess is that they see enough in Levi Edwards to give him the shot instead of Jack.

Simpson too, tho he is obviously very young. Sometimes you have to be ruthless. And honestly in the limited appearances he’s had this year, I don’t think broadbent did enough to change that opinion if that’s what the coaching staff think/thought, especially defensively.

A bit like Gale and McShane weren't good enough then.

McShane was an example of coaching failure that only Brian Mcdermott will be able to explain.

Gale himself admits he was never going to displace Sinfield, Burrow and McGuire in the halves, not really the same.

I'm sure Edwards will get his chance next season and I don't think it will be too long before he oust Sutcliffe of the centre position.
