£15/£5 tickets for the Cas game, £17/£7 tickets for the Saints game, credit to the club for responding to the poor start to the season in this way and encouraging fans to stick with the club. It will all be in vein if we don’t sort out the problems on the field, performances need to improve or tickets won’t sell however cheap they are.

If we win the next two games and win well that first Friday home game against saints could be a great occasion.

If we limp through the next two games it will be flat as a fart at Headingley.

Recently watched the 2005 opening home game against Saints on YouTube, I know its 17 years ago (which blew my mind a bit) but it was a 21,000 sell out, amazing atmosphere and a cracking game! Oh to have those days back

TBF early rounds of the cup are notoriously sparsely attended regardless of form.

The club even tried a few years ago IIRC tried adding a first round game for free to try and improve attendances (worked for the Wigan one) Money is tight and people have a plethora of other activities the can get up to outside of the game especially when its televised.

I would've done a kids for a quid and maybe a tenner but I'm sure the powers that be are banking on a hardcore of 5/6k to bank on who will attend regardless and if they are happy to meander through with a par score then so be it.

Brought a tear to my eye that Christopher... 5 years of transition has done a lot of damage imo.. we need to get back there and sharpish.

My lads team is playing at half time, it's costing us £15 for parents and £5 for the players. Needless to say we're disgusted at having to pay for the kids

We've just paid £32 for our away tickets for the Saints game

When i saw the cup tickets had been "slashed" to £15/£20 i looked up what the normal prices are for a SL game at Headingley and was absolutely shocked.

Do some people actually pay £37 to sit in the South Stand, £36 to sit in the Global?

It shows how out of touch Hetherington is and shows how expensive season tickets will be once the price freeze is finished in 2 years.

Honestly i couldnt believe it. Staggering. £32 for away fans is beyond belief.

Charging the kids £5 if they're playing at half time. Definitely out of touch!!
