Hopefully we can build some consistency now after the win v Wakefield last week. Mustapha back in full training so expecting him to be included in the 21 if Newman is out. Fingers crossed that it is nothing, but if not -

Walker
Fusitua Briscoe Sutcliffe Handley
Austin Sezer
Oledzki Leeming Prior
Martin Gannon
Smith

Dwyer Thompson Tetevano O’Connor

Johnson Broadbent Tindall Mustapha

FC be seething after that loss today. Should (consistency rules) be without Danny Houghton after his sin binning this week (worse than Leemings btw)

Big game for both in terms of points on the board. Leeds be looking to get momentum and FC be looking to bounce back from their dismal loss to Castleford.

Fingers crossed Newman's injury wasnt too bad and hes good to go but unlikely i would think.

I can Leeming copping a ban but who knows. It was no different to what you see in every game but i expect him to be missing. Might improve our defence if he is to be honest.

Shoulder contact straight to the head ? But I only saw it on the night, and other angles showing it different ?

I think 1st contact was Leemings arm on the chest of the Wakey player but he ended up high but you see that most weeks in most games. It wasnt like Bentleys tackle which was bad in my opinion. I expect Leeming to pick up a ban but who knows?

Bans should be reserved for reds and the occassional yellow where more evidence comes to light. How have we found ourselves in this place where every yellow Is expected to be a ban? If it really is a ban they shouldn't be coming back on in the same match after 10 mins!

It used to be the case, many years ago i admit, that if the ref saw it and dealt with it the disciplinary couldnt get involved.

I agree with you Seth, the ref saw it and the video ref will have looked at it and they deemed it a yellow on the night.

Maybe he wont get a ban but im expecting him to arent you?

Oh he will I'm sure. The real positive being the hope of Johnson starting.

Shame for Leeming if he is banned, because I thought he was very good for us before that.

Looking at the replays, it wasn't clear to me where his shoulder landed. His arm was wrapped around the shoulder, but it's possible his shoulder connected with the head. Would be a harsh and unnecessary ban in my opinion, especially seeing as Currie got away with knocking out Fus in Rd 1 with no ban.
