Having watched the Manchester City documentary and the good as it gets it occurred to me that we need change the dynamic of how we promote the game. We have a very active podcast environment that does suggest the players have more to offer than the bland closed question interviews we repeatedly get on Sky and the BBC. It got me thinking about RL raw - which I thought was an excellent insight into how the play offs worked for the championship clubs. It would be very interesting to get inside the Rhinos or Widnes right now and see how guts of what is going on. |

I've not seen much of the Man City documentary, but I've seen some of the American Football 'All or Nothing' series. NFL Network's America's Game is also a brilliant series. But the sport and the clubs would need to invest a hell of a lot in media training before taking on that sort of project. I'd personally question the appeal of an RL version of that sort of thing, but I definitely think that there's more that clubs can do with social media around that sort of thing - carefully edited clips from training field / players tunnel - that sort of thing. American college football teams are really hot on that. |

I think we need to find innovative ways of popularising the game and enhancing awareness of all the stakeholder groups. If you could televise the Whippets and Flatcaps podcast that would be really entertaining. Just the vision of the state Will Perry must have been in at last weeks's Saints/Wigan game would have been a sight to see |

One NFL show I look out for every year is Hard Knocks- RL doesn't have the same cut throat make the squad or not aspect, but would be interesting to follow a club over a year (like the Batley book of 2016) across a 4 episode or so documentary. Probably cost a fair whack to get enough interesting coverage and need the access, but Rhinos could test the water with the Rhinos TV crew, follow on to As Good As It Gets (enjoyed that too). |

I agree Hard Knocks is an interesting observation on the game. Rhinos TV is too cosy and that respect you don't really get to the guts of the club - now really would be an interesting time to spend with the marketing team - they must be pretty nervous. |

Fascinated by these behind the scenes documentaries. The Man City one was superb. Hopefully now a huge club like that have opened the doors for a TV crew others will follow suit. Weirdly I'd prefer to see how we react to losses (2016 + this season) rather than wins (2015 etc etc etc) Would love to see inside the dressing rooms after defeats. |

THe Rhinos 2018 season would have made a great documentary series The development of the stadium The sacking of Mcdermott Sinfield coming back The season itself This is arguably the biggest club in SL with the potential to get relegated. |

Maybe it's in the works already, "As Bad As it Gets". I'm sure some other clubs would still kill to be in the same position as Leeds. |

Yep it would, especially on the back of winning the comp last year, treble a couple of years previously, legends retiring etc. As others have said I’d love to see a behind the scenes documentary of the course of a season. |
