Is he our next coach? Why would he go to Bradford who will be in 3rd tier next year after being at Manly for 2-3 years? Perhaps he was brought in to see out the season at Bradford? Promised the Leeds job? Makes sense. |

I wouldn't be surprised to see him as assistant coach next season to be honest |

Charlie Sheen wrote:I wouldn't be surprised to see him as assistant coach next season to be honest come on, your joking right? A coach like Toovey, assistant to a chump like McDermott. McDermott isn't fit enough to clean his boots. Toovey is still rated by NRL fans as one of the top coaches. How he is at Bradford is anyone's guess. But if Hetherington pulled off a deal of him as assistant, then Hetherington really is the magical sleeve. Unless you were looking at a suttle way of pushing the guy out? |

Yeah i imgine that would be an eye opener for toovey watching mcdermott in action day in day out, entertaining and frustrating in equal measure....I think my u14s amateur coach gave us more structure than mcdermott gives this side and all we did was 3 drives one way then spread it the other lol |

I would be quite happy to see us bring Toovey in. Time for a change, it's been time for a change for while but with the last of the golden generation moving on after this season perfect opportunity for a fresh start and new ideas. |

WTF is going on with Toovey , this fella is committing slow career suicide , whatever stock he had is rapidly eroding at the Bulls . You really have to question his motivation to be in the UK . |

How does tooveys visa work? Would he only get one just for the duration of his contract with the bulls or can He apply for one that lasts after his contract expires? He maybe took the bulls job because they were his way into england and super league,it took him most the season to get his visa, sumthing most big clubs wouldnt be willing to wait without there head coach for....Now he's got one he could go to any club for nxt year and be ready to work right from the start of pre season. Evenif he needs a new visa to move clubs id imagine its a lot quicker to RE-apply than it is applying for the first one |

Can i adapt? It could be a very smart move - rather than come over all guns blazing, only to leave after a season as everything goes sour and your family are homesick. Get up to speed at Bradford. |
