For anyone who is interested, Sir Kev was awarded MOTM yesterday in a game in which his kicking was the difference, as Yorkshire won 33-32 against Jersey.
He also created a try in the first half with a neat burst of pace to break through followed by an inside pass to Taylor Prell to score a walk in. We also got to see a classy short grubber kick off to himself, as so often seen from GLDOs for the Rhinos.
The final will be on April 10th against London Welsh at Headingley so good chance to go see if Kev, and the Carnegie boys, can lift their first piece of silverware in many a year.
And yes.. there was 622 people at Headingley yesterday for the Semi, so suddenly Challenge cup attendances don't seem so bad.

Gotcha in 2016 wrote:McDermott is going. I actually think he is more relaxed because of it, and seems to have let the shackles go. He apparently asked to finish the season, and that is what they agreed.

Didn't Leeds Carneegy reach the final of this prestigious ruggeroid lower tier version of soccer's Johnstone Paint Trophy a couple of years ago? Got thrashed by Leprechaun 'B' side or summat?
Good to see Sinny rediscovering his level in another sport I suppose.
