and sack McDermott, who could actually come in and replace him?

Normally the assistant takes over until a suitable replacement is found.

We have no assistant. Does that mean Ian Kirke is next in line, heir to the throne?

Chilling.

We do have assistants, in Chris Plume and Barry Eaton.

One has never been a head coach on a professional level, the other was head coach at a club that got relegated.

If McDermott were to move on, I could see us moving for Paul Rowley.

They won't sack Mcdermott this season imo. Now, that doesn't mean GH won't make the decision to line someone up to take over for next season if he hasn't already.

Sound like same old same old at the minute, lots of possession but no points, daft penalties and a soft try from dummy half...makes you wonder what we've been working on all week.

If it looks like the Rhinos will not make the 8 something has to give - this season

McGuire back means we're at least forcing repeat sets. Unfortunately we have no idea what to do with them.

This

Everybody can see the issue with a complete lack of ideas near the line. If this hasn't been a priority to work on ..then what has been the priority?

Maybe the only option is to try Golding in the halves alongside McGuire.
Burrow in the halves doesn't work and the same goes for Sutcliffe.
I'm not saying Golding will be the answer but at least he has pace and is likely to try something different.
