Only two games in I know, but there still seems to be a difference in class and I think the only chance of a promotion is in the play off final.

The Bulls were nowhere near Wakefield's level yesterday and Leigh have a bit to go

Leigh have shown in a one off game they could beat the lower level super league teams so promotion is realistic but they would struggle week in week out in Super League.

Its easy to underestimate the difference between a team being pumped for a cup tie and the reality of having to back up even a couple of games on the bounce.

I think this may play a part in how the cup pans out. Whilst Leeds have been playing against top teams and unlocking defences, KR are playing against (with all due respect) lesser opposition. If we come out of the Hull game relatively injury free KR will have to get to grips with a massive leap in intensity pretty quick.

I watched that Leigh match yesterday. I have said all along that they would not make super league, but I felt a bit of humble pie yesterday. I think for the second game this weekend Silverwood was just awful, and contributed massively to Leigh's defeat yesterday.

Leigh had three tries disallowed in that first half. We see now why Silverwood always goes to the video ref, as he cant get a call right. Two of those tries were definite try's had a video ref been present. Those calls the right way could have made a big difference to the end result, considering the score at the time,

Perhaps the clear gap in quality suggests that standards in Super League aren't as low as some make out?
