Just taking a quick look at the fixture list, and our remaining fixtures, and I wonder whether we could remain unbeaten for the rest of the regular season? Given Keith's 'real Super League Table' we only have two 'real' fixtures left, both away, at Wigan and Huddersfield. In terms of mounting any real challenge in the play-offs then we actually should be beating both these sides should we not, given that we have only one draw in his table? Are we actually capable of beating both these sides away from home? We have the potential banana skin of Catalans away of course, we should not be underestimated them or the importance of this fixture, given they currently sit above us in the table. Other than Wigan, Huddersfield, and Catalans the remaining fixtures see us playing clubs below us in the table, in fact with last night Hull KR victory being the first, we play every club beneath us in the remaining fixtures. So, can we actually do it? Yes, no or maybe? |

Oh dear. Whenever a thread like this or even just a post as come up before, that's the end of it. Expect a defeat to Crusaders next. Thanks IA. |

You lot understand this universal symbol used within the English language do you not - ? I thought this was a discussion board, so asking a question and then others discussing and debating it, was sort of what I understand the main thrust of these boards to actually be? Do I have this wrong? If so, me bad! |

Stranger things have happened, but they were really f******g strange. For instance check out BBCiplayer "Junior Doctors, Your Life in Their Hands" from last week. Around 36 minutes in you'll hear something as believeable as Leeds going the rest of the season unbeaten. |

Undefeated as in all regular season fixtures, play-offs, Grand Final plus Challenge Cup quarter final, semi-final and Final? Or just regular season fixtures only? Either way, no, not a chance. Not a chance in hell. |

Leeds could go unbeaten for the remainder of the regular season but it's highly unlikely, IMO. Regardless of the opposition (or venue) Leeds have shown no real consistency (as of yet) as to what type of performance to expect from week to week and on that basis they're as likely to lose the next game as win it. |

Not quite. You are correct on the inconsistency with regard to what type of performance to expect. However, on the subject of being likely to lose the next game as win it, results indicate a level of consistency. Leeds have shown they are unlikely to beat any of the current top 4 clubs because they haven't won a single game against them out of six. That's very consistent. OTOH, Leeds have beaten the rest of the SL rabble 9 times out of 11. That's quite consistent. |
