was thinking about this today, what if some multimillionaire bought them, overhauled the squad, built a new ground etc. Would it be good to have the Leeds derby back as a regular SL fixture, what would it do to our support and RL in leeds. Thoughts?

BBC News: A number of flying herds of pigs have been reported in the West Yorkshire area. In sport, Hull FC are also believed to be close to winning at Wembley.

Maybe to older posters, but I've been wathcing Leeds for 25 years now, and in all that time, they've been little more than a joke. I've never felt anything other than indifference towards them.
Leeds Rhinos? 8 for you, Leeds Rhinos! You go, Leeds Rhinos.

Leeds can barely support one RL team at the top level - two would be impossible. Hunslet should be a feeder club for the Rhinos.
Your job is to say to yourself on a job interview does the hiring manager likes me or not. If you aren't a particular manager's cup of tea, you haven't failed -- you've dodged a bullet.

That's the biggest danger. I'm not an older poster particularly but Rugby League needs to drink deeper at its founts of history and tradition and abandoning a visceral hatred for all things Hun is one tradition we should not relinquish. I give you four reasons:
1. The worst thing that can happen to a local rivalry is pity on one side or another. We must be vigilant. 2. The Huns maintain their side of the bargain magnificently, detesting us more than Hull and Cas do combined. 3. South Leeds? You just wouldn't would you. 4. 1938.
Let all the doubters keep doubting and those who believe keep believing.
We’re only interested in those in the bubble. Anyone who wants to come in the bubble, you can come in.

IN my dreams yes,but it is not going to happen,Hunslet was pulled down in the late 60s-70s most of those "weve swept the sea's before boys"Hunslet folk went to live in all the 4 corner's of the city,so the tradition was not passed on to last two generation's plus hunslet went into an abbyss that many other old historical clubs suffered some revived, some struggle on like Hunslet Hawks.I have worked in recent year's with blokes in their 40s who are lifelong Leeds rhinos fans. I loved the old rivalry and "hatred"between us and them, but its over, its gone, but for people of my year's not forgotten
Soon we will be dancing the Fandango
