Player: Metres - Carries (MT/Carry) - Tackles - Misses (Efficiency %) - Errors - Penalties

Leeds: 1535 - 190 (8.08 ) - 234 - 24 (91%) - 10 - 3
Celtic: 737 - 117 (6.30) - 299 - ? (??%) - 8 - 9

Webb: 175 - 15 (11.67) - 0 - 1 (0%) - 1 - 0

Donald: 120 - 8 (15.00) - 1 - 1 (50%) - 1 - 0
Smith: 104 - 11 (9.45) - 12 - 3 (80%) - 2 - 1
Senior: 71 - 12 (5.92) - 24 - 2 (92%) - 1 - 0
Hall: 114 - 13 (8.77) - 4 - 3 (57%) - 1 - 1

McGuire: 51 - 6 (8.50) - 5 - 0 (100%) - 1 - 0
Burrow: 83 - 9 (9.22) - 7 - 2 (78%) - 0 - 0

Leuluai: 80 - 14 (5.71) - 22 - 0 (100%) - 0 - 0
Diskin: 120 - 15 (8.00) - 23 - 1 (96%) - 0 - 0
Peacock: 171 - 24 (7.13) - 17 - 2 (89%) - 0 - 0
Jones-Buchanan: 121 - 18 (6.72) - 25 - 5 (83%) - 0 - 0
Lauitiiti: 54 - 7 (7.71) - 14 - 1 (93%) - 0 - 1
Sinfield: 61 - 9 (6.78 ) - 23 - 1 (96%) - 1 - 0

Watkins: 47 - 4 (11.75) - 9 - 0 (100%) - 0 - 0
Worrall: 18 - 5 (3.60) - 21 - 0 (100%) - 0 - 0
Bailey: 70 - 12 (5.83) - 17 - 1 (94%) - 0 - 0
Burgess: 75 - 8 (9.38 ) - 10 - 1 (91%) - 2 - 0

What deserves a 'Try Assist' this week? Well there were six out of a possible thirteen:

2 - Burrow (Webb 2 tries)
1 - Diskin (Peacock try)
1 - Smith (Burrow try)
1 - Peacock (Webb try)
1 - Webb (Peacock try)

Again (as per usual) very strange how Hall missed out for Senior's first and McGuire for Hall's try. Yet Diskin get's one when Peacock had men to beat on the line. Bizarre. Next season (if it doesn't improve) I might have to give it a separate thread.

Most surprising stat there is probably Diskin's metres. Top effort from dummy half.

Penalty count won 9-3 with the 3 representing a season's best.

Top tackler - Jones-Buchanan (also topped the missed tackle count though)

Previous week's stats:

Leeds V Castleford
Leeds V Warrington
Wigan V Leeds
Leeds V Hull KR
Wakefield V Leeds
Hull V Leeds
Leeds V Bradford
Harlequins V Leeds
Leeds V Huddersfield
Les Catalans V Leeds

Yet another week where we made more than twice as many metres as our opponents.
We did more tackling (+40) in total than against Cas.
Some questions for Tvoc:
What is the most metres made by a side in a single game & the least against?
What are the figures for Leeds?

I just watched the highlights on SLTV, and have to say that at least Celtic didn't give us a walk-in. Some of the tries against Cas were embarrassing to watch.

I'm not going to read much into these stats TBH, if I'd have turn up to the game on Saturday with my boots I'm pretty sure I'd have got a run out for the Crusaders.

It was hardly, what you class as, and with all due respect, a comparative match up. Celtic would have struggled against any Championship side with the team the fielded to be fair, let alone a virtually fully fit Champion winning side.
Even Bradford may have turned them over.

The chase back tackle on Donald by their young full-back was the prime example of that. They were already getting flogged and it would have been easy just to make a token effort.

Saying that, Donald should have given it to the guy inside for a walk in.

24 missed tackles in a game Leeds were dominating? That needs tightening up for the business end of the season I would suggest.

I'd agree. You can see that in the metres both teams made.

I'd wouldn't have thought they would have made around half the metres we did when you take into account the final score.
