Apologies ifis has been discussed already, couldn't see it. Was anyone else fortunate enough to see the post-match interview with Steve MacBanana yesterday on the Beeb? Hilarious scenes. I've seldom seen such a surly and sulky interview from a professional coach. If it's online anywhere, it's well worth a peek! |

I have it recorded, I might watch it now - anything to cheer me up. |

To be fair, I ould be pretty peeved if I had just coached a team who had blew a 26-0 lead. Especially when said team blew an infamous play off game a couple of years ago and more recently, collapsed to let in 18 points with little more than the last 5 minutes of a match. What surprised me was McBanana's words to the effect of that he should 'protect' the players which was indicitve of a coach who is too soft or has lost real authority in the dressing room. I'd have been fuming if I was a Bradford speccy. Perhaps someone should start a raffle on here for which minute Bradford will cave in on. |

I thought McBanana spoke like a petulant and flippant school boy, the interview was as embarrassing as the game for mine. The Bulls Barack Obama don't make me laugh. |

I'd always that that McNamara was a reasonably intelligent, amiable person that came across well in interviews. Yesterday was appalling, he was ignorant, obnoxious and generally unpleasant. I'll put it to down to the shocking display, and probably impending departure, but even so, McBanana, you went down a huge amount in many peoples expectations yesterday. Close the door on your way out. |
